What is in your dhcp.conf?  I have the following entry for mine:

    host krups {
      hardware ethernet 08:00:20:94:77:a0;
      fixed-address krups.stderr.spb.ru;
      filename "sparc/bootjs.net";
      option root-path "/export/root/krups";
    }

where "sparc/bootjs.net" refers to /tftpboot/sparc/bootjs.net and the
kernel is /export/root/krups/netbsd

Admittedly, I haven't booted my krups for 2 years, though :)
