After seeing the great speedup nick reported on i386/amd64 with the simple
COMBRELOC trick, I tried that on sparc64 and saw good speedup there too.

Attached is a version for sparc - but there I can not measure any consistent
speedup. Either something is wrong with the patch, or I do not have the
right (big enough) applications to test.
