Staring at OpenSolaris code:

I'm wondering if anyone is aware of any modern (UltraSPARC based) Sun
system which uses the Intel 82510 serial controller.  I see evidence of
code in Sun's code for its "su" driver, but I'm suspicious about whether
this older UART was ever actually used.  It had a very shallow
4-character FIFO.  As far as I can tell, our code doesn't do anything
upon detecting it, other than maybe to treat it as a 16450 (it can run
in 16450 compatibility mode.)

Anyone have any knowledge here?  Thanks!
