Hi,

I am sitting here with a shiny new 70 GB disk, just to find that the sparc
port is still stuck with MAXPARTITIONS = 8. After a bit of reading, I found
several discussions on the issue that went nowhere; "wedges" are supposed
to be here RSN since 1998; and PR 2675 was closed as "since long fixed"
although it's not.

Is there any chance of NetBSD/sparc going to MAXPARTITIONS = 16 like, say,
i386 or macppc, before the port gets obsolete? Or, more perferably, before
NetBSD 4?
