I have about a half dozen or so dead Sparcbooks (all 3 series,
which means they'll run NetBSD). Some of them won't boot, some of
them will boot but have video problems, one of them seems to work
okay but has a broken case (cannot be picked up casually by one
side, needs two hands). Someone who knows a lot more about
miniaturized electronics than I do could probably cobble together
at least a couple of working units.

Anyone good at fixing laptops, is near Sunnyvale, California, and
wants to give it a shot?
