Thanks a lot, wscons seems to work now - with one exception - I still can't
switch to the dvorak layout :(

 "wsconsctl -w encoding=3Dus.dvorak" fails with:
 "wsconsctl: "WSKBDIO_SETENCODING: Invalid argument"

The strange thing is that it works fine to switch between other layouts, su=
ch
as us and sv.
