I've got a SS4 - my desktop machine at work - and it's been giving me

NMI: system interrupts: 40000000<VME=0,SBUS=0,ME>

occasionally (maybe ten times in the last six months). As far as I can
tell nothing but the Viking actually does anything with module errors,
and according to the boot messages, my machine has a Swift
("cpu0 at mainbus0: MB86904 @ 85 MHz, on-chip FPU"); is this really as
ignorable as the lack of action by the kernel implies, or does it
indicate something is getting near to failing?
