If you only use a single client (and can not share the /usr mount with
ohter machines) you don't need to move it.

The documentation just describes the common setup - basically you would like
to have everything identical for two client machines, but only differentiat
in /etc. You can do that with more involved tricks outside the scope of this
simple how-to, or you can do the poor mans version: differentiate /, share
/usr.
