Hi,

I recently got my hands on a "Tritec Workstation 20 (WS20L)" (label on
the case), aka "Tritec SS120" (inscription on the board) aka
"SPARCstation 10MP" (OpenBOOT).

I got it with two Ross Dual Hypersparc 40MHz mbus modules, 512mb ram,
a floppy and two Antares SBus ConServer-ESP (without cables :/ ).
As I, as of now, do not have a cdrom, I went with the floppy installation.
If I am informed right, it's a sun4m machine and fdc appears in the
list for this arch.

After reading INSTALL.sparc and adjusting the OpenBOOT settings as I
were told, it was time for installation (NetBSD 2.0.2).
But, as soon as I want to change from floppy 1 to floppy 2, well,
see for yourself:

Welcome to the NetBSD/sparc microroot setup utility.

We've just completed the first stage of a two-stage procedure to load a
fully functional NetBSD installation environment on your machine. In the
second stage which is to follow now, a set of additional installation
utilities must be load from your NetBSD/sparc installation medium.

This procedure supports one of the following media:

1) cdrom
2) tape
3) floppy

Installation medium to load the additional utilities from: 3

Remove the boot disk from the floppy station and insert the second disk of
the floppy installation set into the disk drive.

The question below allows you to specify the device name of the floppy
drive. Usually, the default device will do just fine.

The floppy didn't even come out.
Searching the archives, I found posts from other people in
the past having similar troubles, but also from people who
did not have them.

A floppyset I found mentioned as working quite often was
NetBSD 1.5, so I gave that one a try.

The floppy gets indeed ejected with this disk, but due to this
harderror, the floppy refuses to read from the newly inserted disk.

Did I forget something (wouldn'T surprise me, it's my first sparc
after all), or something I could try, other than waiting for a
cd drive and install from it?

	Regards, Joerg
