My series of events on an SS5/110:

1.6.2 was fine
2.0 release was fine
2.0.2 source update brought coredumps of sh when building tools. I played with
memory and the problem remained.
1.6.2 reinstall was fine
3.99.3 was fine, and worked okay for a few updates, and then started dumping
core on select /bin binaries. (mv, sh, etc) (up to 3.99.6)
3.99.7 appears to be okay at this point with June 30 sources. I'm planning to
do an update today or tomorrow and see where it goes from there.
