Hmm, I have random coredumps too but I also have flaky memory. Oddly
enough I get compiler errors and all kind of problems when compiling
locally but not when compiling via nfs using a PCMCIA wi card - main
difference: no DMA involved ( but maybe the DMA buffers just coincide
with the funny part of my RAM, who knows ). The machine I'm using is a
SPARCbook 3GX, which has a microSPARC II CPU, just like your SS5. The
Classic has a microSPARC I ( no idea if that's relevant though )
