Hello,

I finally got the PCMCIA controller to do The Right Thing(tm) - at least en=
ough to run wi(4):

tslot0 at sbus0 slot 1 offset 0x2000000 level 11: 2 slots
pcmcia0 at tslot0 socket 0
pcmcia1 at tslot0 socket 1
wi0 at pcmcia1 function 0: <Dell, TrueMobile 1150 Series PC Card, Version 0=
1.01, >
wi0: 802.11 address xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
wi0: using Lucent Technologies, WaveLAN/IEEE
wi0: Lucent Firmware: Station (6.10.1)

So I guess other PCMCIA devices should just work now.=20
In case anyone wants to play with this - a kernel for a SPARCbook 3GX is he=
re:

This kernel contains the usual wscons stuff, PCMCIA and support for wi and =
wdc cards.

Additionally it contains the following changes:
- envsys works now via /dev/sysmon, as it's supposed to do
- if you're running powerd and press the power button the unit will shut do=
wn
- when idle the CPU will be put into sleep mode so the unit will actually =
cool down
- the MSDOS filesystem for flash cards and the like.

have fun
Michael
