Very odd, but the stuff in /rescue seems to be pretty picky anyway. Sure
there's no leftover object- or dependency-file in an odd place?

I've never done a native build on sparc, always cross-compiled either on
sparc64 or macppc ( my only sparc box has faulty memory and processes
that use a lot of memory would coredump randomly anyway, besides that it
would take painfully long on a microSPARC II without L2-cache )

I built a -current sparc userland a week ago or so, I didn't see sh bomb
out with it - if you want to try it I'll make it available for download.

have fun
Michael
