Maybe it's one or two subtly corrupted .o files, who knows. The build on ma=
cppc should be clean though, I'll know later today.
How is gcc4 doing? Older versions weren't exactly known for their superior =
optimization features, especially for sparc and powerpc - is there any meas=
urable change?
