Hi,
X  windows is behaving a bit funny on my new 2.0 install
on a sparcstation 5.

1. startx, running xinit, took a long time then failed.
2. I switched to xdm , which also takes a while too
and complains of some fonts not found. But works ok:).
( don't worry about these necessarily, just for info).

3. When i log into the xdm prompt/ banner the typing
on the keyboard makes beeping noises?

How can I turn this off please?

4. Repeat key doesn't work. ie if you hold down a key
it doesn't repeat. So I have to tap the key repeatedly.

Is this an stty thing? What should i set and where?
