More or less the same here - I had an IPX at university and a HP9000/345 at home :)
The IPX had a nice 20" grayscale monitor, so I ran X in StaticGray and got an ultra-crisp image in sort-of true color :)

Hmm, maybe a certain cuteness combined with not having a painfully slow framebuffer like the Classic :)
( and then there's the Hobbes issue... )

So, to stay on topic - for me it's a tie between the IPX and the LX.
