I just tried this release, following the instructions at:
http://www.netbsd.org/Documentation/current/#installing
I've downloaded everything but the X packages, unzip'd a kernel and etc and
copied over the kernel then rebooted.
Neither GENERIC nor GENERIC.MP gets any further than:
Booting netbsd
3055260+100204+329432 [189744Illegal Instruction
Whereupon it drops to the OBP prompt.
The machine in question is an SS20 with two 150MHz Ross HyperSPARCs (RT626),
320MB RAM, ROM Rev. 2.25, a TGX+ frambuffer and ethernet/scsi SBUS card.
Am I missing something here?
Any help appreciated...
Gary
