If someone has built openssl (specifically 0.9.7c) with multi-threading
support on NetBSD-sparc (1.6.1), I would VERY much appreciate your sharing
the target you used for the Configure script [or Makefile].

If not, can someone recommend whether or not NetBSD1.6.1/sparc needs or
should have the -D_REENTRANT define?  Are there "words of caution" concerning
native threads on NetBSD1.6.1/sparc?

Finally, I notice that in pkgsrc patch-ac, optimization is being changed
from -O3 to -O2.  Is this really necessary?
