Subject: Upgrading an SS20 to 1.6ZF not good

Tried an MP kernel (1.6ZF) on my 20 yesterday. It dies after the "booting
secondary processors" message (see output below). Anyone else see this?

If I run it with a UP kernel (same vintage), it's fine as long as I don't
do anything on the X display attached to the cg14 (Xsun24: cg6 is :0.0,
cg14 is :0.1). When I do, it dies with a "level 15 interrupt" or "kernel
fault" within a few minutes (with no trace). Bad hardware? It used to run
1.6K UP, so I don't think it's a hardware problem, but I could be wrong.
