Hello,

I have a feeling that I was >this< close to bringing up NetBSD on my
SPARCstation 1+ this evening.  I can boot the install diskette, and
dmesg seems to recognize the Zip drive as sd1, but I can't seem to
mount it: 'Device not configured' I think it said, which I'm guessing
means that Zip support is not compiled into the generic kernel.

Thinking there was more than one way to skin a cat, I copied the
binary sets to an i386 box to attempt an FTP install.  See below for
details of how that went.  I think I have to either make some kind of
install kernel with Zip drive support, or get the screwdriver out and
build an external CD-ROM drive.
