well, I ahve faster sparc machines, too - they are just all running
something else atm.

right. dot he configure, no errors. cd to the kernel compile directory,
make depend (which broke in one version of my kernel config file) and
then make.

I realize I removed a lot of stuff, but there is a lot fo stuff I'm just
plain not using. It's just an LX with a spare scsi/le card. nothing
special :)

I'll redownload the sys tar again and start fresh.
