I've had this some time ago on a Sparcstation 10 Box
with PROM-Version 2.25R. Plugging in a keyboard 'solved'
this (IIRC with framebuffer removed, so screen is still
on ttya).

The real solution that still works today is downgrading
your PROM to, say, as in my case 2.10 or 2.12.

Before that you'll need to find out your CPU-Model-number
(FRU-number usually written on Mbus-connector) and which
PROM is actually needed.
