Hi ,
after repeated failed efforts to build this using the
1.5.3 pkg source tree I switched back to the 1.5.2
pkg source tree and tried to build clisp on it.
( I am running netbsd 1.5.2 on a sparc ss5).

AND I tried to build it on an ss2 running 1.5.2
also that has never seen a 1.5.3 source tree.

BOTH machines returned:
mv lispimag.mem interpreted.mem
./lisp.run -m 1000KW -M interpreted.mem -B . -N locale -Efile ISO-8859-1

-norc -q -c compiler.lsp

Compiling file
/mnt/raid/pkgsrc_152/lang/clisp/work/clisp-2000-03-06/src/compiler.lsp
...*** Signal 11

Stop.
*** Error code 1

lewy#

So both my ss2 and ss5 get sig 11 faults.
I really doubt that any of these machines, let alone
both have defective memory hardware.

Can anyone help me to build clisp on netbsd please?

thanks,
Paul.
