This question is off-topic (though the program in question is installed on
NetBSD/sparc).

The question is this: If I just want the 'smbclient' utility, can I blow
away the rest of samba? It appears to me that 'smbclient' doesn't really
need anything in the samba config file, but after spending several hours
building samba, I'd hate to blow it away only to find I needed it.
