   that's fine with me, except i believe the name was picked for a
   reason.  it is, after all, the
   
   	cirrus logic multi-protocol communications controller
   
   either way, if someone could cons up a driver for this card and make
   it attach as a csfour, i think that'd be cool.  i tried to get one
   started about two years ago, but quickly realized i had no idea what i
   was up to, even though i managed to get some docs from the company.


my point is that the long name is not very specific; cirrus
make other "multi-protocol communications controller"s.
