| Not relevant. My problem is a I have 1 exceptionally loud 2 gig drive, 4
| (much quieter) 1 gig drives, exactly 1 drive sled, and the need for at
| least 2 gigs of space. It is truly a sad state.

You can use the sled for the first drive (on the bottom) and the second
drive can be mounted fairly easily. Put the mounting screws into the
drive but not screwed in all the way. This will stand the drive at the
right height. Then keep it snug with a couple of little pieces of
cardboard on either side. I've only been doing this for about a week
and I have no idea if this is safe, but everything seems ok. My first
Sparc is this SS5 that I bought a few weeks back, so I'm by no means an
authority.
