Yes, I've considered it. But I've seen way too many disks die that way
(mostly in Macs). I don't care about the disks themselves; if one died
every 6 months, that gives me two years of decent use, which is fine,
because by then I will (hopefully) have a decent job and I'll just go buy
an Ultra60 or something :). But I don't want to go through the hassle of
realizing it died, pulling it, putting in a new one, setting everything up,
etc. Especially with the chance of it taking something else out with it.
