Just wanted to thank everyone for the speedy replies.

The solution was indeed to use "mixerctl -w monitor.output=headphones" and
then adjust the volume using "mixerctl -w outputs.headphones=whatever".  The
same thing works on my IPX aswell as the IPC.

into the sparc port - it really is top!
