Edit /etc/ttys and change the first entry from type 'sun' to type 'vt510'
(this is supported according to the termcap file). If that doesn't work
try 'vt100'.

It makes no difference what the terminal type you use when you install,
this is not probed or remembered from your setting during installation, it
will always default to 'sun' on a freshly installed system until it is
changed as above.
