	You'll notice that in both OpenBSD and NetBSD, they used to 
use the tunefs method of enabling softupdates, but starting with 
OpenBSD 2.9 and NetBSD 1.5, this changed.  Hopefully, Kirk will be 
able to get back to me sometime fairly soon and help me understand 
the details of why and under what circumstances.
