   I'm trying to get the "be" in my SPARCStation LX sbus card working on a
   100FDX switch - it is a Fiberline FL-2008NS if that matters. The kernel
   - it's NetBSD 1.5Y - reports a valid carrier:

   # ifconfig be0
   be0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
           address: 08:00:20:1f:60:6d
           media: Ethernet autoselect (100baseTX half-duplex)
           status: active
           inet 192.168.25.42 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.25.255
           inet6 fe80::a00:20ff:fe1f:606d%be0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x3

   Nevertheless I can't get a single packet through. I even tried to
   configure the card to 10MBit/Sec but it didn't help.

   Any ideas? Are there perhaps jumpers which need to be set?

it *should* work without anything special.. i have one in an ss5
that isn't currently in use but often is...
