It's a happy meal. My probelm turned out to be memory. I had a 
bad stick of memeory which toasted a memory slot in my Ultra 1. 
I'll have to gut the Ultra 1 out and get a new one. 

The happy meal is working fine in my ss5 now BTW. It's the only
sparc I have left :-(
