I have a new (well, new-old ;) classic that came with a SunGX cgsix
framebuffer. The card appears operational up to the NetBSD console, but X
doesn't like it very much. I did this from the PROM to get it going:

setenv output-device /iommu/sbus/cgsix@1,0

(not sure anymore of the exact digits after "cgsix"; I cd'd to /iommu/sbus
and ls'd, and set output-device to whatever address the cgsix was at.)

Then, I switched the monitor cable from the on-board cgthree to the cgsix.

The system boots to console, and X appears to start, but only to the
initial grey screen; no xterms, no window-manager, and strangest of all,
no errors. Works fine when I switch it back to the cgthree.

What do I have to nudge to get this working?

Best,
