The thing dies in 1.5 polling some console stuff. A short message about
cgsix at sbus 0 slot 1 and then panic: kernel fault.
1.4.3 boots and runs fine, but the screen is still not showing everything.
It has to be something between 1.4.3 and 1.5, but I have not figured out
why 1.4.3 runs but has the silly screen. 1.5 NetBSD, and several OpenBSD
releases all die at the same point.
Could it be the GX framebuffer? I have an FB4 from an IPX at home.
Would that likely work better?
If nothing else, I will haul in the correct ascii tty dongles tomorrow
and see about getting it set up on a VT100 (VT320) terminal.
