I just finished building a new test kernel from the 2001/03/24 source,
and I'm having trouble getting it to load (never mind run!).

What's up here? Do I need to install new boot blocks again already?

The previous, working, kernel is 1.5F from about 2000/09/21. The boot
blocks were from an ELF snapshot that I'd installed prior to rebuilding
from my own tree.

I have another sparc-1 that I could also test on, but it's currently
running 1.4.2 and I'm sure it would need new boot blocks. Would the new
boot blocks still boot the 1.4.2 kernel? (Oh, and it's been up for 272
days and even though it doesn't have any production jobs I'm not most
happy rebooting it, especially if it wouldn't come back easily! ;-)
