Matt Green, booted a kernel with the semaphore stuff on his SS20 with
dual supersparcs (which doesn't need them so is a good test to see if
I broke anything) and it seemed to work ok, so I've uploaded the
actual kernel that panics and locks up on my machine to
ftp.netbsd.org:~sjg/tmp/netbsd.mp to see what it does on his, feel
free to try it ;-)
this kernel works for me with:
mainbus0 (root): SUNW,SPARCstation-20
cpu0 at mainbus0: mid 8: TMS390Z50 v0 or TMS390Z55 @ 75 MHz, on-chip FPU
cpu0: physical 20K instruction (64 b/l), 16K data (32 b/l), 1024K external (32 b/l): cache enabled
cpu1 at mainbus0: mid 10: TMS390Z50 v0 or TMS390Z55 @ 75 MHz, on-chip FPU
cpu1: physical 20K instruction (64 b/l), 16K data (32 b/l), 1024K external (32 b/l): cache enabled
cpu1 isn't doing anything useful, though. i'm working on that :-)
