i'd have to search around, but wasn't this brought up recently here? or maybe
it was on port-vax or port-pmax, i don't remember off hand.  something about
increasing a frequency setting in the kernel config file, something to do with
the clock not getting enough cycles under load to keep running, i forget, let
me dig around till i find it.
