My guess is your CD drive can't read audio tracks or this feature
isn't supported.

I have the same symptoms, SCSI timeouts, with a JVC XR-W2010.
It can rip soundtracks and read iso-CD's alright. It can't play
audio CD's nor can it burn. (searched around the web for info and
the model is basically a POS, should've left it in the garbage pile :-)

Can you mount iso-CD's ok?

Anyone with more knowlegde on this ?
