I built xmms from the pkgsrc collection on my SS5 running NetBSD 1.5.
I cannot seem to get xmms to work propperly.  It appears to load
mp3's but when I press the play button it appears to hang.  The button
does not even 'un-depress.'

Also no sound comes out ;)

Has anyone gotten xmms to function propperly on a similar configuration?

The behavior is the same if I am an ordinary user or if I am root.
