Don't know about this. Our cg14 driver says it supports 24 bit color,
although the code contains lots of comments with qualifications to that
-- "experimental only" support, "not well tested", etc.
I'm actually much more concerned about XSun24. A dumb 24 bit frame
buffer kernel driver shouldn't be that hard (although I failed to get
one of my Parallax boards working, for lack of docs).
Does anybody know if XSun24 actually works?
