I guess it was because i had them on the subnet.  The linux I read documentation 
said something about specifying hw to ifconfig to give le1 a seperate mac 
address.  If I did this, could I have them on the same network?  Is there 
something similar to ifconfig le1 hw xxx:xxx:xxx:xxx on netbsd or openbsd?
