Hi, all. I've just recently physically moved a Sparc IPC, and now I get a
whole bunch of "Framing error CRC error" messages from it as it tries to
netboot. It will sometimes eventually bull through, but there's obviously
something wrong.

All I've had time to try this far is swapping out the Cat 5 cable with
known good cable, and that didn't change anything. I haven't tried
swapping the AUI->10baseT transciever yet, as I'm gonna need to scrounge
another one up somewhere. I also haven't swapped out the hub that's
connected to the thing. At the moment there's nothing else plugged
into it, as it's acting as a sort of media converter between the 10baseT
and the 10base2 that runs in the rest of the house. (But, I had another
sparc where this one is, and it wasn't seeing errors.)

I'm just wondering if anyone knows right off that bat what the cause of
this error might be. There was a nice discussion of this in the archives,
but none of the noted causes seem to apply.

Thanks in advance!
