Does anyone know if a 4M x 8 SIMM will work? Two of my SIMM's have 8
chips (presumably 4M x 1) and an empty pad where the nineth chip
would go. The other two have 2 chips (presumably 4M x 4) with an
empty pad where the third (presumably 4M x 1) would go.

I guess the real question is: "Does the SS1 actually use the parity
bit?"
