I'd think about perhaps having a snapshot that includes an alternate
kernel, perhaps, incidentally... Having a kernel with the change to
vm_page_zero_enable as noted below would be worthwhile... Folks with
a fairly common-seeming CPU will be dead in the water otherwise, until
the problem's fixed.
