With _HME_NDESC = 64, I get:

   hme0: buffer overflow, ri=17; flags=0x45d2f430

The box is pingable, but essentially unusable. Can't rlogin to it, and
it clearly cannot mount
the NFS partitions it needs. The 'ri' numbers keep on increasing, until
I stopped it at about 48.

This is on a SunSwift board in a Sparc 20, with -current from two days
ago.
