I have no problems netbooting Sun 3/60 and Sparc Classic with Linux
rpc.bootparamd (the one that came with Slackware 4.0.0, 10312 bytes - do
those things have a version?).

My /etc/bootparams is:
vlootje root=hsi:/export/vlootje gateway=10.0.6.3:0xffffff00 \
swap=hsi:/export/vlootje/swap
ferrari root=hsi:/export/ferrari gateway=10.0.6.8:0xffffff00 \
swap=hsi:/export/ferrari/swap
anarchy root=hsi:/export/anarchy gateway=10.0.6.3:0xffffff00 \
swap=hsi:/export/anarchy/swap

where vlootje and ferrari are Sun 3/60 (NetBSD 1.4), anarchy is Sparc
classic (NetBSD 1.4.1, hsi is i386 (Linux).
