Just out of curiosity, how come the GENERIC kernel still doesn't support
the extra sparcbook features (such as framebuffer and screen dimming)?

In any case, is there any way to use the external mouse instead of the
annoying joypoint thang?  This works fine for me under Slowlaris.  The
serial ports also work fine for me under Slowlaris but not -current.
