Hi all,

I have a 'dead' SparcStation-10 which I would like to revive by putting
NetBSD on, but I'm having problems (I'm not sure quite why it's dead
in the first place...)

Anyway, I've set up my NetBSD-i386 as a network boot server using tftp,
and can boot the Sparc up fine.  Unfortunately, as soon as it enters
the kernel I get a kernel panic:

  panic: pmap_bootstrap: no memory?!


The memory on this machine seems to be somewhat problematic...  Apparently,
it's all in the right slots, but Solaris doesn't like it (memory alignment
errors.)  NetBSD evidently doesn't, but apparently a really ancient version
of RedHat Linux (spit) will boot OK on it.

For what it's worth, the OpenBOOT prom says this of the memory:

My question is this...  Has anyone seen anything similar and managed to
coax NetBSD into running on it?  It's possible I could set up my Intel
box to cross-compile a custom kernel for it, if it's just a case
of pointing the kernel to where the memory is?
