Thanks Dan; some of us are just too stupid to RTFI!  I recompiled Xsun (several
hours!) with no optimization and no '-g' - and it still crashed.

Any more suggestions ?  I think this is something that really needs to be
fixed before the next release.  And for my site, it needs to be fixed (of
course!) yesterday.
