I've had troubles getting xconsole on an ss5 running 1.4.1 to work.  It
comes up, but no messages are displayed.  I have verified that messages
are going to the serial console.  I tried enabling "UCONSOLE" in the
kernel config, but to no avail.

Has anyone run into this before, or does anyone know what's going on?

Or do I just need another cup of coffee?
